Sherwin A Goodman
Sherwin was born and raised in Barbados and began writing poetry as a teenager. He learned to play the guitar at a young age.
Sherwin appeared on many singing talent shows as a young man in Barbados.
He performed on the hit series “Studio Party,” hosted by Vic Brewster, and backed by the band “The College Thrillers.” He then performed on many other shows with different bands and made many appearances at the Blue Room Night Club.
Sherwin moved to Canada in the late 60s and took music and acting lessons in Montreal, appearing in many films, TV shows, and on stage.
He is a writer of fiction books. “Rick Drago in the Tropics” was his first novel. In 2007, one of his poems won the Editor’s Choice Award.
In 2016, he and his brother Ceifred Goodman published a book of poetry titled “Structures of In-elegance.”
Sherwin loves to play dominoes and has won many trophies competing in domino tournaments.
Sherwin has appeared in many movies and television shows as a stand-in and background actor Author, background actor. Sherwin has since written and published other books titled “Rick Drago’s The Missing Prototype.” “David Trent,” “Caribbean Assassin.” “Susan & Friends.” “Crosstown.” “Barbados Heroine.” “The Player.”
He lives in Canada on the outskirts of Montreal, in the city of Chateauguay. He is a lover of music from the 70s and has a vast collection of vinyl records from that era, which he enjoys playing when he is writing.
